Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
Have we got any more space for another in the treatment room?

A good footballer when he's not injured, but he is too often

There are plenty of other better options, starting with that Norwich lad

We need a massive clearout of all these permanently injured players in the summer, whether we stay up or not, rather than adding more

Someone mentioned Shelvey.

Jonjo is currently having a nice big mansion built in Emerson Park.

huffers

thhat's about 3 seasons for carroll!

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
We ain’t getting a player of his quality without the injuries, that’s a fact. He’s miles better than Carroll, having JW for 20 games would be better than AC for 20.

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
Hang on Sullivan is taking a back seat and no longer sticking his beak in transfers yet we still don't have a director of football or recruitment with Adolf Henry having been dismissed so who the fuck is showing interest in not just Wilshere but also the Russian striker we're linked with whom Moyes didn't like the look of.

Doesn't look like things have changed much to me.

Wilshere would be a good signing for us but being out of contract he'll be eligible for a pretty hefty signing on bonus and we all know our lot won't pay that so expect him to be picked up with a club who do spend money on players.

Your mum

I disagree, no team can afford to have a player missing for half a season who would usually command a first team place.

I hope you were joking about that cunt Livermore.

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
The main difference being that they will all cost fairly significant transfer fees.

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
A team like Arsenal can afford to have a player that usually misses half the season on the books, we can't.

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
Lets say we stay up.

Stoke, Saints and West Brom go down. Some good decent midfield players available.

Romeu, Livermore, Ward Prowse, Tadic, Allen, Redmond, Shaqiri

I’d rather Shelvey

On current form and fitness then absolutely. But for how long does this last?

Trevor B 5:37 Tue Apr 3
Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
Wasn't he injured for Bournemouth last season that took him out all summer?

Arrogant...Smoking...Injury Prone...

Pass...

Lee Trundle 5:34 Tue Apr 3
Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
His last big injury that saw him miss a load of games was almost 3 years ago, wasn't it?

He's probably been fitter and available for more games than all our midfielders since then.

Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
If you are happy with Wilshire then you are happy with Carroll

Hammers1993 5:29 Tue Apr 3
Re: Jack Wilshere anyone?
Forget the one foot issue you have, you would like to think the club has learned from how they have been stung with Carroll's injury problems they wouldn't touch any player like this.

Look at West Brom with Sturridge. Do people never learn.

Once they fall into the injury prone category you can write that player off.

As good as Wilshere is on his day, a club our size can't afford to have those types of players on the books as it ruins a season. It's okay to an extent for a club of Arsenal's size as for instance they have a Ramsey etc. to just jump straight in.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere though so I am guessing it is pure horse.
